The head of state conducted a visit to address national troops in the Donetsk region on the weekday. Zelenskyy announced that he engaged with fighters at the military base of the initial brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya sector, a town approximately 12 miles from Pokrovsk.

Volatile Conditions in Pokrovsk

Recent mapping from a local initiative showed that Russian forces had pushed further into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though a large portion was not fully held by either side. The conditions are severe, with accounts indicating that invading units were fortifying positions and building up positions in some districts.

Opposition armies are making progress in the Pokrovsk front and seem to be functioning with growing ease within Pokrovsk itself.

Analysts noted that national troops had recaptured substantial territory of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya front, on the eastern edge of the Pokrovsk effort.

Ukrainian Long-Range Assaults Deep Inside the Federation

Ukrainian long-range drones targeted a production facility approximately over 800 miles inside Russian territory at Sterlitamak. Local officials confirmed a blast at the industrial complex that caused its water treatment facility to suffer damage, adding that the reason for the blast was undetermined. Russian law prohibits draftees from being sent to battle, but after their defense commitment they become part of the backup units, putting them at risk of being deployed to conflict.

Zelenskyy's Appeals for Global Assistance
